Work History

Nov. 2008 – Present
Junior html/css developer with OBS-Group in London. Working on front end development on a variety of projects including elearning, ecommerce and interactive information applications.

At OBS, we work closely with in-house C# developers and designers to produce robust, user friendly, accessible products. Being a small company we have the opportunity for good client interaction and creative input.

Sept. 2006 – May 2008
Student of Web Design/Development
– spent this time re-training in web design/development with UKIT Training. During this time I supported myself working as a School Caretaker with occasional duties as a Teaching Assistant.

May 1997 – Sept. 2006
Lighting Designer
(self employed) – freelance in various professional theatres. Solely responsible for theatrical lighting designs, in line with client's brief. Working as part of a creative team involving artistic input, negotiation, providing background technical information and communication with all relevant departments. Responsible for managing and motivating existing teams.

Using initiative and problem solving skills, whilst working under pressure to meet client's intense time and budgetary constraints.

Experience in several overseas projects and tours encompassing a range of theatrical genres and cultures.
